Mack Brock emphasizes God’s past and present faithfulness with his 11-track record This Is Holy. “This is a worship record giving praise to God and talking about who God is, what he’s done in my life and what I want my life to look like,” Brock said in a release. “Sometimes I lose focus on the fact that being in the presence of God is a holy thing.”

Most of the music reflects an anthem-style with some pop and ballad sounds also in mix. The catchy tune, “Time and Time Again,” offers listeners a solid radio single and part of the chorus states, “You’ll come through now like you did back then; Time and time and time again; Almighty fortress, our defense; Time and time and time again.” Cyrus Brock, Mack’s 9-year-old daughter, wrote “The Best God,” a simple but passionate song of devotion to the Lord. Other noticeable selections include “The Greatest Victory,” about God’s triumph over the cross and grave, and “Be Near,” a song about desiring God’s closeness. Brock, a former founder of the Grammy award-winning Elevation Worship, has carved a good spot in the solo artist world. He’s one to watch. (Centricity Music)
