At 84 years old, Elder Don Dykstra, Classis Illiana, was the oldest delegate to this year’s synod, and Rev. Albert Postma, 28, of Classis Lake Superior, was the youngest delegate.

This was Dykstra’s 14th synod, and Postma’s first. Postma, who graduated from Redeemer University College in 2006, enjoyed “making more connections than I anticipated, and seeing people from college and seminary and spending some time with them.”
