Known as the Cup Noodle Concert, this annual event, held the third time in Mill Creek, Wash., seeks to help people in need in the city deepen their connections to Jesus.
More than 70 people of various ethnicities gathered at to hear musicians, including a drumming group from the Fraser Valley in British Columbia. The concert was in support of a neighborhood relief program.
The event was organized by . Rev. Bomsu Kim, the church’s lead pastor, gave thanks to volunteer musicians and said “We are excited to launch this Cup Noodle Concert beyond the Korean community. It challenges our neighbor churches and Christians to think about service, evangelism, and even Christian identity.â€
